The Landscapes We Carry: An evening of poetry and conversation with Charlie
Join novelist, poet and publisher Charlie Roy for an evening of poetry and conversation around her two companion pamphlets, Grit and Flesh, recently published by Red Squirrel Press. Moving from girlhood in southern Spain to motherhood in Scotland, the poems explore family, place, the things we inherit unknowingly, and the changing body. Charlie will read from both pamphlets and talk about the stories behind the work, with plenty of space for conversation and questions. Copies of the pamphlets will be available to buy and sign on the night.
