In Conversation with Dr. Ibikunle Dashur
Join us in an immersive book conversation with the prolific artist and writer, Dr. Ibikunle Dashur on his coming book, Judge & Jury.
Dr. Ibikunle Dashur is a Lagos-born writer, painter, and civil engineer whose creative work explores human behavior, emotion, and everyday life. Broadly educated across engineering, law, and business, he balances a career in construction management with a lifelong passion for literature and art inspired by literary icons like Wole Soyinka.
The book, Judge & Jury follows the ordeal of Chief Barrister Abiodun Festus Abogunloko, SAN, who has built an enviable legal empire, reaching heights only a handful of practitioners will ever witness. His glittering career, however, was forged in the shadows. For decades, he operated on the bleeding edge of legal ethics—crossing the line whenever victory required it, without a second thought.
When a buried misdeed is dragged into the public light by a squad of relentless whistleblowers, Chief Abogunloko’s world implodes. Stripped of his invincibility, the grandmaster of legal maneuvering finds himself trapped on the wrong side of the courtroom—facing the very brand of merciless, predatory justice he pioneered.
